All the readings are realized with help of a thumbprint. The thumbprint is basic identifier serving to find the correct palm leaves bundle for each applicant. Men give right hand thumbprint, while women use left hand for that same purpose. Every thumbprint possesses 108 papillary lines, which then serve to assign it a tittle according to its papillary structure. There are 9 basic categories, 108 subcategories and 1008 sub-subcategories of thumbprint tittles. These are used to sort palm leaves bundles in individual libraries. Thumbprint must be done in such a manner, that the papillary lines are clearly visible.
After the correct bundles are found, starts the search for your own individual palm leaf. In other words, successfully found bundles do not automatically mean, that your palm leaf will be found as well. Every applicant gets at least two bundles prepared before a reading. From these prepared bundles, which typologically correspond with the given thumbprint, continues the search for your own palm leaf. This is also known as a client’s identification. Palm leaf search is conducted in form of a data verifying from single palm leaves in a bundle. Naadi reader reads the data from an individual palm leaf, while client’s task is to either confirm or disprove the given information with simple YES or NO answers. If client’s answers are YES, the naadi reader keeps reading next piece of data from the same leaf. If some of the essential answers gets answered with NO, the palm leaf is put aside.
The reason for this is the fact, that the given information does not correspond with client’s live, thus such leaf can’t represent his or her palm leaf. This whole process of answering the given data takes as long, until all the information gets answered with YES. This is the way how the client’s individual palm leaf is searched for. Some of the data read from palm leaves may be very personal. However, it’s important to answer truthfully and according to reality. When the given answer is incorrect (it doesn’t matter, if willingly or unwillingly), then search for the correct palm leaf might be unsuccessful. In case, when you are not certain about some piece of information during matching session (search for the correct palm leaf) or you simply don’t know the answer for it, the naadi reader continues reading from the same leaf. This method prevents any possibility of not finding the right palm leaf. Time needed for matching session differs. It can take from few minutes up to one hour or even more. It depends on which bundle the correct palm leaf will be found.
When the search for your palm leaf is completed, it is time to proceed to naadi reading itself. As first is always done the reading of the so called “General khandam” also known as Chapter 1. This is fortune telling starting from the time when people come for the reading until the end of their lives. General khandam is divided into few separated periods with length from 1 to 5 years. In each of this period are predicted data from client’s future life in relation to:
General khandam reading is incredibly detailed, and it takes at least one hour. That is the reason why there is no need to rush to do also reading of side chapters 2 to 12. Even though the data extent from the client’s General khandam is enormous, it is possible to ask additional questions related to reading when necessary. Naadi reader will answer all questions. In case, when planetary obstacles or karmic load appear during naadi reading, it is usually recommended for client to undergo readings of special chapters Shanthi khandam and Deeksha khandam.
These two special readings may be realized right after the end of General khandam reading. Shanthi khandam chapter is detailed description of the one client’s past life with the severest karmic load on the course of current life situation. Deeksha khandam chapter recommends various Vedic rituals (prayers, mantras, sacrifices, fire ceremonies etc.). Shanthi khandam and Deeksha khandam special chapters make an integral part of naadi reading in palm leaves libraries in India. The main aim of these palm leaf readings is not only to perform someone’s fortune telling, but most importantly to help all those people, who come for a naadi reading in their future lives through execution of recommended Vedic rituals.
These rituals help to remove or at least mitigate karmic loads and obstacles. Indians say, that naadi reading is not simply a form of fortune telling but is primarily meant as a form of an aid in our future lives, to fulfil our live mission and to live a better and happy life for ourselves.
